Another medium that is well represented is textile. From rugs and tapestries to textile sculpture, textile artists are pushing the boundaries with their work and techniques.

They will have exhibitions by design students in addition to their own collections. ICON gallery in Chiado is showing an installation of the new collection Poesia by Bárbara Osório Fabrics.
More textile can be found at Flores Textile Studio in Praca das Flores but this interior design studio is much more than a place to find artisanal textile. For LDW24, founders Emma and Valenitna have collaborated with artist Shahid Datawala, who will present Indian and Portuguese cinema from 19030s alongside an amazing scenography with a range of furniture and objects by Flores. Finally, a newcomer, Bryon Studios in Santos will show her collection of printed textile as well as a textile sculpture by Susana Mendez.
