Embraced by the Atlantic Ocean, Portugal's cold-water seas are a generous neighbour, providing fish of unrivalled quality. And our country shows it gratitude by transforming it into irresistible delicacies, such as the conserves that have long held worldwide fame.
Conserveira de Lisboa is an icon in this area thanks to a simple formula: providing the best the sea has to offer to its customers. This was the case in 1930 when the company was born and it remains so today. Because traditional commerce only remains when it is authentic.
What sets Conserveira de Lisboa's commercial activity apart has always been the vision to create brands which become part of Portuguese daily life. Of the various brands registered by the company over the years, three stand out: Tricana, Prata do Mar and Minor. Traditional brands that have never been afraid of modernisation and which know how to protect those characteristics that gave them their name: unique flavours, genuine ingredients, unbeatable quality.
The history of the Conserveira de Lisboa has been intertwined with the history of the Ferreira family, withstanding various crises, from the exponential growth of frozen foods to the appearance of hypermarkets. A history marked by a capacity for innovation allied with strategic vision.
The shop has been beautifully designed by the Portuguese designer Filipe Alarcão.
In the windows, designed by Lavandaria, they will be displaying the new picnic basket designed by João Xará and launched for Lisbon Design Week. They will be introducing the basket design (João Xará), the store design (Filipe Alarcão) and the branding design (We Are Boq).
