A broad range of furniture and objects in the core of Lapa

Mónica Penaguião is an inteiror designer who curates beautiful spaces and interiors, one of which is her Poeira store in Lisbon.

Over time, Poeira emancipated itself, earned the nickname Design and grew — perhaps not so much in size, but in the sense in which it grew in the world. Mónica left a trail of her projects in Brazilian cities, such as Rio de Janeiro (both in its capital, where she had a branch, and in the municipalities of Vassouras and Paraty) and in São Paulo; in New York and Ibiza.

In the past year, Poeira has moved to a new address — the ground floor of a building in the Lapa area.  Baptized Lapa71, this is the new home of Mónica and Poeira Design — at least for now.

This year, she will show a range of her ceramics, sofas, lighting and vases from her collection as well as glassware by Marie-Victoire Winckler which will be presented as an installation.

Marie-Victoire Winckler

After 15 years in the luxury field, working for figures of design such as India Mahdavi in Paris or Patricia Urquiola in Milan, passionate for handmade craft from all over the world, her research took her to Portugal with its artisanal excellence where she produces today.

Her Totem series treats glass as a textile while ceramic becomes the ornamental accessory to the glass composing and defining unique creations.

Each Totem object can be composed individually, forming vases, lamps or lighted sculptures.
