A light-filled peaceful sanctuary within the city

While looking for a place to welcome our friends and guests in Lisbon, we stumbled upon an enchanting 18th century building. Located in the old cultural quarter and standing in one of the most romantic squares is the Santa Clara.

Santa Clara 1728 is surrounded by monuments, beautiful palaces, and a lovely park with stunning views of the river. We were charmed by the beauty of the place, and quickly decided to make this our new family home. We renovated the building alongside our good friend and architect, Manuel Aires Mateus. His architectural style, a soft and serene conversation between elements and time, respected the building’s history while introducing a modern elegance. The outcome, a light-filled peaceful sanctuary within the city.
